Pat Schneider was an exceptional writer who shared her gifts freely. I was never a poet, but I have three books out there and a I’ve been running a site called Writer Advice, http://www.writeradvice.com, since 1997. I doubt any of this would have happened without AWA to jump-start my writing and nourish my sandpaper first drafts.
